The ancient wisdom of yoga allows us to embrace your uniqueness and gift ourselves with freedom and empowerment. Yoga offers us an experience of deep connection with our bodies and enhances our capacity to live fully in our bodies and in the present moment.

Who is Annie?

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read through my website, it is wonderful to have you here! I am Annie, and I have been on my personal healing journey for several years now. I have experienced various energy practices which have enabled me to shift from a dis-regulated individual into a mindset of serenity and gratitude.

I made the courageous decision last year to completely change my life; it didn’t feel like the right fit for me, so I decided to pursue my passion of healing and yoga instead.

Yoga is a passion of mine as it has assisted me through the process of my recovery. Trauma recovery is something that I hold dear to my heart, after being affected by challenging life situations, as many individuals are. Recovery is a complex process that involves addressing the psychological, emotional, and physical impacts of traumatic experiences. Yoga has played a significant role in this healing journey by providing me with space and tools to help me to reconnect with my body and cultivate to a sense of inner peace. Through practices such as mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation, I have been able to release stored tension and trauma. This holistic practice has gifted me with self-awareness and emotional regulation, making it an invaluable tool in my recovery process.

Yoga has also provided me with a spiritual outlet and an important form of expression which has developed my spiritual awareness and appreciation for life. I hope to share these gifts with others who have struggled to connect to their physical or emotional selves, whether they have experienced trauma or not, and to find a deeper connection and meaning to the world around them. 

I also have a personal training qualification which has helped me to understand the physical elements of yoga. I am currently working towards certificates in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Somatic Healing, and Meditation Coaching as part of my continuation of personal development.
